Tagisipan (tagisan [Fil. “contest”] + isip [Fil. “mind”]) is a Bacolodian board game (see my original feature write-up here) invented in response to chess as more complex and realistic but with a similar objective, meant to draw out the full potential of the human mental faculties’ capabilities. As such, we envision it to be a creative and innovative social solution to address the Philippines’ ailing educational system by empowering the youth to THINK with the sky as their limit.
Come with your family or friends, and get the chance to play the game, socialize with other individuals passionate for fun social change, and meet the inventor of the game himself, Mr. Reynato Sian!
